Waianapanapa Black Sand Beach is the most famous black sand beach in Maui. It is so called because it is located in Waianapanapa State Park, at the end of Waianapanapa Road near Hana.
Maui’s most famous black sand beach is, in fact, known by many names: Pa’iloa Black Sand Beach, Honokalani Black Sand Beach, Waianapanapa Black Sand Beach, or, simply as the Black Sand Beach Maui.
However you choose to refer to it, this beautiful beach is a must on any Maui itinerary that includes the east side of the island.
