Entry tickets are required, as well as parking tickets if you plan to drive yourself to Wainapanapa State Park and park your vehicle in the parking lot in the park.

Residents of Hawaii do not require entry or parking tickets to visit the black sand beach in Maui. Just show up and present proof of Hawaii residency!

If you are a non-resident visiting the black sand beach in Maui with a resident, you still need an entry ticket, which costs $5.00 per person.

Once you receive confirmation of purchase and the attached tickets with QR codes, make sure you download them or print them out before arriving at the park, since cell reception at the park can be spotty.
